What is your mind set on?  What is your focus?  Is it work, a wedding your planning, a baby on the way, a new home, your kids activities, keeping the house clean?.. The list could keep going on and on, but yet we still focus on these things intentionally on a daily basis.  WHY?  Well, we work to make money for bills, we want our wedding day to be perfect, we want to be ready for our bundle of joy, want the perfect house, want to make sure our kids are involved, and we want to live in a clean environment. (Atleast I hope so… lol)  But, what if we switched our minds and started being more intentionally focused on God, not life?  What if we didn’t worry about our cell phone for a day, let our email take a break for one day, take time to spend together instead of behind electronics?  I know things get piled up when we don’t stay on top of things, but what is more important God or your phone/email?

What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?

What if we flipped through it several times a day?

What if we used it to receive messages from the text?

What if we treated it like we couldn’t live without it?

What if we gave it to kids as gifts?

What if we used it as we traveled?

What if we used it in case of an emergency?

What if we upgraded it to get the latest version?

This is something to make you go…hmmm…where is my Bible?
Oh, and one more thing. Unlike our cell phone, we don’t ever have to
about our Bible being disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill.

“Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.” Phillipians 4:8

Let’s pray specifically this week for us to be more sensitive to the spirits working in our hearts, to the lessons He is trying to teach, the impressions He is making and the sin He is convicting us of.
