MemoryVerse-02

Are you a branch flowing off the Vine?  I can honestly say these lasts few days for me have been pretty bad.  My anger is taking over my life.  See we got a puppy for my husband.  He is a german shepherd and cute as can be.  But, he bites, he is into everything, he doesn’t listen,  and it is DRIVING ME MAD!!!  As the Ninja turtles would ask… “You mad Brah?”  YES!! And I don’t mean to be.  This puppy named Gunner is supposed to understand that my husband is his master, not me.  I have a yorkie and my yorkie, Maverick,  really does not like his new “brother”.  They are constantly biting at each other and growling.  I have researched a lot and everyone says it takes time.  Well, if any of you know me personally I AM NOT GOOD WITH PATIENCE!!! And I don’t remember praying for that either… GRRRRR…..

As I was reading this Tuesday study, I realized that I am not the branch from that vine.  If my anger keeps cutting my branch down from the vine how am I supposed to be an example?  My family sees me into my studies (I am doing 3 bible studies), and then sees me angry outside the studies????  Something is SERIOUSLY WRONG HERE!!!

I guess today I want you all to take a look around and see how you are living.  Are you branching out or are you being cut by __(fill in the blank_)?

John 14:6: Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through me.”

It’s time we step up as Christians and have our BRANCHES FLOW AND SPREAD!! Let God be heard and seen through each of us.

Enjoy these lyrics of Waiting on the Night To Fall by Casting Crowns

There’s an old man living in the back of your woods tonight
You forgot he was even there, but you’ve never slipped his mind
He’s living off of scraps of you you never knew you left behind
And as the sun goes down, he rises with a smile

He’s waiting on the night to fall
The old man’s coming to call
But you don’t see the writing on the wall
He’ll never step out in the light
No, he’s just biding time
And while you slumber, he’s gonna come and take it all
He’s waiting on the night to fall
He’s waiting on the night to fall

He knows you have the answers, but truth lies dusty on your shelf
And the sword that you could slay him with has become an ornament and nothing else
You could put him back down in his hole in the ground, but he knows you never will
He’s been around so long you got used to the smell

He’s waiting on the night to fall
The old man’s coming to call
But you don’t see the writing on the wall
He’ll never step out in the light
No, he’s just biding his time
And as you slumber, he’s gonna come and take it all
He’s waiting on the night to fall
He’s waiting on the night to fall

He knows he’ll never have your soul
But he will gladly rob you blind
While you’re feasting at his table, he’ll tie your hands and numb your mind
He’ll take you farther than you wanna go
He’ll keep you longer than you wanna stay
And it will cost you more than you ever thought you’d pay

He’s waiting on the night to fall
The old man’s coming to call
But you don’t see the writing on the wall
He’ll never step out in the light
No, he’s just biding his time
And as you slumber, he’s gonna come and take it all
He’s waiting on the night to fall
He’s waiting on the night to fall

He’s waiting on the night
He’s waiting on the night to fall
The old man’s coming to call
But you don’t see, you don’t see the writing on the wall
He’s waiting on the night
He’s waiting on the night to fall
He’s waiting on the night to fall
